Before we begin, we want to make sure you understand the importance of baby teeth. Even though they’ll inevitably be replaced by adult teeth, you should help your child take good care of their baby teeth. They’re crucial for chewing, speaking, and (our favorite) smiling. They also create space for adult teeth, so having healthy baby teeth will allow for permanent teeth to come in straighter. Keep in mind, it’s never too late to start! Even if you missed some items on the lists linked here, you shouldn’t be discouraged.
